Col du Galibier (north side) on La Marmotte route

Four of our guest tackled La Marmotte route over two days this week while I supported in our minibus as part of our La Marmotte Prep Weeks. It was the first climb of the giant Galibier this year over the more difficult north side. Richard from the States climbed the giant in 69 minutes (timed from Valloire) while I came up just behind in 70 minutes as Richard put in a little dig at the end that i could just not match - the rest of the guest followed over between 10 and 30 minutes later. From here we descended to the Col du Lautaret and back to Bourg d’Oisans with two guys choosing to finish off up Alpe d’Huez.
