La Marmotte is a big undertaking for most cyclist and it is for this reason we offer 2 specific preparation weeks a year for the event from our base in Bourg d’Oisans - one at the begining of June and one at the end of September. We will ride the event course over 2 days taking in the Col du Glandon on the first day and then the Col du Telegraphe, and Col du Galibier and optionally Alpe d’Huez on the second day.
We have set aside 2 weeks this year as ‘La Marmotte’ preparation weeks. The rides will be split over 2 days with full vehicle support. For La Marmotte 2009 we are running this option week commencing the 7th June 2009.
For those considering riding La Marmotte in 2010 we are offering the chance to ride the course fully supported over 2 days week commencing the 20th September 2009

I and my brother will be completing La Marmotte in 2010. We booked with yourselves to hire bikes in May this year, to ride up the alpes. I envisage La Marmotte will be a different challenge but are looking forward to it any way. Could you advise when the entries will be out and what is the approximate cost of the entry and accomodation?
Hi Peter good to hear from you. The date for La Marmotte is usually announced in October and is usually the first week of July. The cost is somewhere around the 40 euro mark i believe. We have various accommodation options (self catered / B&B and a tour week) which we will release to our existing customers first in september. If there is anything left (it usually sells out within a couple of week) we will offer it to the general public.
